Nokia E50 Review

i absolutely love it..great size..pictures of the phone ..don't do it justice...the call quality is excellent ..ivery loud comparable to e61....n73 didn't have loud call volume....loud speakers on the e50 is decent...not the greatest...

but build quality is excellent..i want to know how to fit a bl-6c battery in here though....joystick is great like shaolinmonk said

the screen is dull..not as bright and vibrant as n73....but still clear....pictures still look good on it..when viewing...

what i was disappointedabout the phone was a transflash card..i'd prefer a mini-sd...aswell it wasn't able to play videos well...videos don't work well on this phone...

According to Nokia it has a Mini-SD slot... I do not know of any S60 phones with a transflash slot. And I do not know of any S60 phones that have trouble playing videos?

the e50 uses transflash, micro-sd

when qwest says it has problems playing video he's referring to the HQ videos people use in their e61, n73, k800 etc..etc... seems like the e50 can't run video with a high bitrate like those

Sorry guys and gals for the delay. Still backed up on everything. The E50 will be perfect for someone, I'm sure of it. It's quite nice.

My attention at the moment is getting the stink out of my Nokia 6230b. I was carrying my son (6 months old) and he barfed all over my shirt, my belt, my pants, my socks, my phone pouch, and the 6230b inside of the pouch. It's amazing how he aimed right for the exposed part of the pouch.

For those of you who know baby barf, this isn't spit up. We're talkin' hurl.

Anyhow, that's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it.

But for you, my loyal Nit Picking Deputies, here's a preview:

I stand corrected then.

Would videos on the E50 be slower than on my 6620? The E50 may have a faster processor, but it has way more screen to update, so I'd be curious to know about video performance in this case.

EEwwwww, sorry about the baby barf...but I'm sure his cuteness makes up for it

Thanks for the pic..that is exactly the comparison I was looking for...I was thinking of a 6230b but thought I would go for the E50 instead....

Anyone have a N73/E50 photo comparison?

Quite the reverse -- I've left it in my back pocket and sat on the phone numerous times because I forgot it was there, it's so light and thin.

(but I always thought "oh sh*t don't break!" when I felt it and jumped up)

I AM a girl with non deep pockets and it's fine.

Coming from an MDA, the E50 feels fast...I mean if I had the money to get an N73 I would have but seriously for the price the E50 is a steal if EDGE data and battery life and reception mean anything to you.
