Nokia Barcode Reader for N73 and N80 Now Available

Just got on the Download! App on my N73 and found the Barcode Reader app that Tommi posted about in his blog the other day. It's kinda fun, but I'm not sure I see a point, really.

my N73 gave me a "Unable to install. Component is built-in." error when trying to install. :\

What do you guys normally use the reader for?

I have now got it on my N80. I had to download the catalog programe from Nokia ( http://www.nokia.com/A4199039 ) and then once the catalogs had updated it was there. I had to view Darla's code with the N80 on its side before it would recognise it.

The link says it's available on the N80 but I don't see it under my Download! thing after refreshing... I have the latest N80ie firmware installed so... maybe it's only for N73?

You need to first install newer version of catalog, then download bar code scanner in catalog.
