Nokia 6600 Cover

Is there any way to take off the damn cover of the nokia 6600? If so how the hell do you do it i cant figure it out? I dropped my phone in a huge puddle the other day and the phone works kinda it shuts off all the time on me and i cant get any service on it? Let me know.
