Nokia 6310i buttons stopped working how do i fix it?

My bosses mobiles buttons have stopped working and all his numbers are still on it i want to try and fix it if i can. When we turn on his phone it asked to set the time and the buttons seem to have frozen or just aren't working at all. Is there anything i can do to fix it?

If not is there any way i can get any numbers saved on the phone off?
I live on an island service centers with none nearby. i need to know how to do a DIY job
