Nokia 6275i and PC Suite

I have my Nokia 6275i hooked to my laptop with the data cable CA-53(?). I have installed PC Suite 7.0 and it sees my phone. It has no issues reading contacts etc, however the messaging feature doesn't seem to work. PC Suite does not retrieve messages I have on the phone (which tells me it might not be a service related issue) and does not send them. I have seen various people on other forums claim that this feature does not work over CDMA networks, however, isn't this model only produced for CDMA networks? Nokia claims it's a compatible feature with this phone model both on the compatibility chart and over phone tech support.

Has anyone gotten this to work?

You may need to set-up a data connection with the phone; i.e. "tether" with the phone as a modem device.

Someone here with more experience with tethering may be able to advise you further......
 
I have had no issues using the phone as a modem, however, PC Suite seems to function a little differently. I believe it provides its own set of drivers and such.
