I have just purchased the Nokia 6265i from TELUS myself. I also have a 1 GB MiniSD card to go with it. The cable that TELUS sells in their "connect" kit for $49.99 will do what you need. THE GUYS IN THE STORE ARE ON GLUE!! It will work for a file transfer mode and as a Data Enchancement Mode. I even have the screenshot for Diego to help people find and select the proper selection to make your mp3's and AAC's as ringtones.

Send me an email [email protected] (remove the NOSPAM) and I can send you the screenshot. I can't do anything about the software, but suggest LimeWire. I personally tried torrents and found nothing (Sad but true)

I 've setup mp3 on my nokia6265. Simply download diego and change the ringtone setting from anly telus to all types.

Has anyone else had any luck with this method yet? Is it really as easy as it sounds?
Also, what if I just want to set a recording as a ringtone? Are the steps the same as the MP3 method?
Thanks!

does anyone know good free softwares to cut mp3 files to be set as ringtone? I use some softwares but don't work well.. :(

Now my sd card isn't reading in my phone, all it says in my phone is that its unformatted, and ive formatted it 3 times on my computer. I think i will need to get a kingston sd card, because i bought a cheap 1gb for $45 called kingmax, but thanks i will get back to you when i have tried it.
Thanks again.

Ok. So you can access the memory card through bluetooth? Have you loaded Diego and tried to change options? I'm concerned about getting Diego to load and loading the phone software in it to change through Bluetooth. If that makes sence.

I do not get how to use xillasoft to convert them to 3ggp files it does give me an option to convert them to different files but not a 3ggp file

and another question totally off topic what does the CPF :$20.00 stand for i'm new to cellphone forums and i wanted to know.

THANX.

Then you should tell that my phone. Prefer if you wouldn't though, I like the drag and drop appeal of mp3 to ringtone.

Just to show everyone I'm gonna make one of those YouTube vids to show people step by step to get this to work. Trust me when I say this. Out of the line-up that TELUS Mobility has for their SPARK packges, THIS PHONE IS THE EASIEST PHONE TO PUT MP3's AND GAMES ON IT. Even the V3c RAZR was harder to put mp3's as rintones on it. But don't get me wrong, that has about 2 more steps than the Nokia.

Hey i went to Free Games - Mobile Gamer|Midlet Review to get games and it says Nokia: 3300, 3510i, 3650, 5100, 6100, 6200, 6220, 6610, 6800, 7210, 7250, 7650, 8910i and no 6265i but by changing the settings on it will it work anyway and do i need to download the jar file or jad or does it not matter

Can you please explain how to do this? This would be a lot better than having to void our warranty by using the Diego method.
Thanks!

i have a question, im downloading the Diego 3.07 off the torrent on page 6, but i was wondering if you HAD to have a usb to connect to your phone, or can i just put the memory card in my computer and copy the ringtone on to the memory card?
