Hey! I tried with Bluetooth first and Diego didn't recognise my phone (actually it said there is no dongle), but to be honest I had both, so I didn't try hard to conect it with BlueTooth.

And also, I got miniSD card from eBay, but it is not a SanDisk one. Guess what? My phone doesn't recognise it. I am still to try to format it in Fat, as mentioned before in this thread. I'll see if it will help. I'll post my results when I get them.

Cheers!

Just for gigles, has anyone tried to get the phone to connect through Bluetooth? I just don't have the adapter, so I can't test to see if it will.

i know please im dying from the same problem ... i hvae the same phone also from telus .. my bro sends me ringtones from his phone via bluetooth .. but it wont let me set them as my ringtone because of the activation key crap ... will unlocking my phone let me by this ?

forget the kingmax, 6265i can't regonize it, try either the sandisk, kingston, or a cheaper china model,
I called nokia and they can't support the kingmax, went back to the store bought cheap china model, tried it out at the store to see if cell phone see the memory card, reformatted it in the phone and then purchased it.
Store clerk was nice enough to let me try before I bought.

Hey, I am a proud owner of the new Nokia 6265i from Telus. I was just wondering if anyone has figured out how to set their mp3's as ringtones. And a side note, what are the key activations for?

Eh....one of my old co-workers started working in Telus part-time. Judging by what he is saying, they will not bother with cheking your datafile system and your software inside the phone. All they will do is check "phisical" damage, and if there is none, they'll gust switch it for you, that's all:)

I have tried that, but it either says that I can't use it as a tone, or "Not allowed by activation key."

What's wrong with it?

And does anyone else's phone sometimes blank out when trying to set a song as a ringtone?

I don't know why diego is not recognizing my phone? It is version 3.08! Any ideas guys?

Search for and download a torrent client. there are many. then go to a website listing torrents. Search for "Diego". Download, click to down load and load the small downloaded file into your torrent client. Then come back in a few hours and your software should be downloaded. But dont be doin anything illegal now! lol I do this on my shet box(windows xp machine). Cause my Mac is my heart and soul and I dont really trust the torrent clients. Spyware and all that shet.

I'm having the same problem as the previous poster.
A friend sent me 2 ringtones and 2 full songs through bluetooth.
I can listen to the songs, But I can't use them as my ringtone.
Anyone have an idea as to how to get past the Activation Key thing?

Thank you to everyone on this forum.

Got it done without a hitch.

Will check back if anything else comes up with the phone.

Bye for now,

Andy

Hey I know this has nothing to do with the ringtone topic but do you know how to get games on it for free

I Really hate the stupid snake game

K i accidently deleted my diego becuae i couldnt figure out the dongle thing. and now when i use the link and download it. when i try to open it it wont let me it says i have to find where the program is coming from. but i cant

Ok so diego loads and it also has connected to my phone (6275i) but when i got to phone settings nothing comes up:( Anyone else had this problem?

I had "no dongle" problem too. All you have to do is uninstall whenether software and drivers which came with the USB data cable (you can install software back when you finished with Diego, it will work perfectly with Diego drivers), and reinstall Diego. That should solve "no dongle" problem (solved it for me)

Cheers!
