Nokia 6265 Problem, no idea what is wrong

I recently got a nokia 6265 second hand for a mate, worked for a few days..... all of a sudden it will refuse to power up to the main menu and instead says "contact service" is read lettering then turns itself off, cannot get past this, what is wrong?
