Nokia 6263 won't charge

Last night, I noticed my new (just got last week) Nokia 6263 was dead. Plugged charger in, blue screen with "charging battery" icon came on the screen. I let it charge for 8 hours, and it still will not turn on or work. When I plug the charger in, the same blue screen and battery-charging indicator starts up. Then, a few seconds later screen goes black. Any advice as to what could be wrong?
 
Hi richmwill, maybe the port loose its connection or there is a problem on your cellphone...anyway for sure your cellphone is still under warranty you can bring it back to the cellphone store where you bought your phone...
 
well maybe the female area is loose ..check another charger if its still the same then the fault would likely be your female switch..if not then try inquiring it to the store you recently bought..its under warranty right?:)
