Nokia 6101 or Samsung t319?

All Seeing Eye

I currently have T-Mobile and am using a Samsung e105. I've had it for about three years now, and it's beginning to crap out on me. Also, I don't want to spend too much on a phone.

I saw that T-Mobile is giving away the Nokia 6101 for free. I've read the specs, I've read about it on this forum, and it seems it's a decent phone. However, I also noticed it came out about nine months ago.

I saw for $50, I can pick up a Nokia 6103 ? apparently a newer version. Is this going to have any better reception than the 6101? Are there any real advantages?

Lastly, I'm looking at the Samsung t309 or t319 for $40. I've had two Samsung phones in a row, and they seem to be fairly durable. Reception is okay, although our house appears to have really crappy service no matter what carrier you're on.

Anyway, can someone recommend the 6101/6103 over the t309/t319 or visa vera?

Any help would be appreciated. I should add the most important thing to me is reception. I could care less about camera quality, etc.

I actually am needing a second phone. I looked at the 6103 as well. We decided on that one since it has bluetooth capability. I have not looked at the other Samsung though. I have always like Nokias.

I had the 6102 at cingular before I switched to verizon and it was ok, It was not as nice as other nokia phones because I heard that BenQ actually manufactured it.

I got the 6103 the other day. Pretty nice phone. It is just an extra phone basically now. We have seven phone lines now. Why we needed another I don't know but I mainly wanted to do some testing with T-Mobile
