Nokia 5230 Freezing Issue?

The phone requested I do an update, I attempted to and it said there is not enough space on phone to install the update. I pressed OK and then locked the phone.

Now the phone will not unlock when I press the slider and the screen is constantly on and not responding to any buttons being pressed (including the power on/off button).

What should I do?
How can I solve this problem?
