nokia 3650 won't read applications and jar files

hi,

i don't know why it won't read files i transfer to the memory card. The manual says, after transferring the files, go to application or applications manager and you can see your files there but i don't see anything even though i have pasted the files to the memory card.

should i consider the symbian version? anybody tell me what to do with it? :ah:
