okay i wanted the nokia 3395 phone just for the composer! so my nina had it but then she signed up with another 2 yrs with cingular again and she got new phones! so what they did is they took the sim card out of the 3395 into her new phone! so she gave me the 3395 with on sim card! so when i want to turn it on just to use the composer it says Insert SIM card! i dont want to activate the phone! so i was wondering do any of u guys know a trick or a way to just use the phones features and not to insert the sim card or do i have to get a sim card! my auntie signed up with cingular again so they gunna give her phones in the mail so she has extra sim cards so do i have to use her extra sim card to make the phone work? :flamemad: thanx!

hello! 3395 is useless without a sim. you don't need a plan to turn that phone on again. cingular is selling sim just for prepaid use. i think this is the best for you if you using the phone just for composer because your $10 load last for 30 days and just add $10 before 30 days your remaining balance will carried over to your new load. t-mobile is the best when sending and recieving ring tone. if your 3395 is unlock, check ebay and they sell t-mobile pre-activated sim card (prepaid) for $20. if you recieve the sim all you have to do is put it on your phone and your ready to go. just give t-mobile a call to change the area code to your local area code. hope this will help you.

okay! so ur saying that i could buy a cingular/at&t pre-paid sim card with minutes and use the phone as a pre-paid phone! i want a sure answer cuz i dont want to buy the pre-paid sim and then it dont work! my auntie had the cingular non pre-paid! and the phone isnt unlocked! oh yeah and i love ebay! please help!

if you want a pre paid sim card from cingular you can get that at your local cingular store. if you want a pre paid t-mobile you can get that at ebay, just search for (t-mobile sim card) and i think it gonna cost you $20 and already activated but the area code is from diff state. just call t-mobile customer service to change the area code to your area code. if your phone still luck to cingular just send me PM of your imei number and i'll give you the unlocking code for that phone.
