Nokia 3250 on a Sidekick Data Plan?

I just got a Sidekick about three weeks ago, and my brother's giving me his Nokia 3250 when he comes home next weekend. I was wondering, since the 3250 can get full web browsing and e-mail, will it be able to pick that stuff up using my SK's data plan?

Thanks

No it won't. The Sidekick's data plan is different than the regular T-Zones package, so any websites you attempt to go to will give you an error about not using a Sidekick on the Sidekick plan. I tried this awhile ago with a 6260 when I was switching back and forth between a Sidekick and it didn't work.

You'll be able to access the web and email just as good (and better) than the Sidekick will on the 3250, but you'll just have to switch your plan around.

No. You're not going to be able to keep your Sidekick plan whatsoever because, well, you'll no longer be using a Sidekick. I believe the only advantage to keeping the Sidekick plan would be that you can still take advantage of the unlimited text messages while using the 3250. You'll have to switch to a regular T-Mobile plan and add T-Zones to it in order for the 3250 to connect to the internet.

Oh well. At least I'll have the wonderous twisting keypad and the satisfaction that I'll be the only person in the city to have a cool, imported phone that nobody'll have any idea what it is.
