I'm getting a new cell phone soon and I was thinking about getting this one.
It has a camera, and I'm a total cell phone noob. But anyways I was wondering if you can transfer the pictures taken on the cameraphone to a computer for emailing or what have you.

This is the phone I'm talking about...

PS: What other phones should I consider?

Im sure can with a data cable. Data cables can transfer ringtones, pictures, wallpapers and photos to ur pc or to ur phone.
I would recommend you the nokia 6630 and 7610

I just got my Nokia 3220 3 days ago. I am hooked. I have owed a Motorola V551 and also a Samsung E315. I have found the camera image quality a lot better on the little Nokia, and the ringtones are FAR SUPERIOR to any other brand phone. IMHO, Nokia phones get better reception/signal strength than any other brand.

but don't quote me. I only work for T-Mobile ;)

i love my Nokia 3220. But im currently trying to figure out how to send myself ringtones of real music.

You can only get amr files on the phone by using the pc suite and data cable, or by recieving them in a multi media message.

but that cant be true because on the movie site Charlie and the Choclate Factory, they have a free ringtone in amr format, and i got it by clicking a link, and I dont understand why that one would work but nothing else?

I don't have the text message with the link in it anymore...it got deleted, but here is the link to where you can have it sent to you.

When you get the link it gives you two more links, one to the amr ringtone and one to the midi ringtone, I downloaded both. If you cant get the message sent to you, let me know and I'll try to have it sent to me again, but I dont know if it will send it to my phone again. Thanks :D

Ah ya have to sign up, anyway, what i was sayin was, Them messages you get are service messages dat you can download the amr file by following the links, but you cant upload the file to your server and download it like you would a midi or image.

You cant do it yourself, Only companys who send out the messages can do that.
Does your service allow you to send multi-media messages off there site? If they do, you can send one to yourself with the sounds attached, or even search google for a free MMS site.

Yes my phone does send and receive mms messages. I have tried searching google for a free sms or mms site that allows me to send audio with it. If anyone can find a site please post the link here :D

yeah this is a good phone, got it in december
the camera is nice, the only thing it lacks is bluetooth

*EDIT forgot to tell that the rubber lights start to wear off but maybe its only on my phone because i dont keep it on one of those cases
