Nokia 3100 new comer

Hello guys , I just bought a new Nokia 3100 , I had in mind a simple phone that can do all the things I need... I have a computer to surf the web, so i'm leaving that option out for now..

Do you think it was a smart choice to choose such a phone ?

If the phone does what you want and YOU are happy with it, isn't that what matters? I mean one person's idea of "smart choice" may not be the same as yours. It's all pretty subjective.

the users are very happy with that model.
 
as for now , I'm not disappointed and thanks for the advice regarding the reception.. I really hope to enjoy it !

I guess you put it on correctly , "smart choices" come in for every individual needs, there is no real "smart choice" univeral kind of one..

What kind of ringtones does it supports ? MIDI Format only ?

I did now... :) could you be a dear and help me more ?

I want the ringtone from this forums on my new phone , but for some reason it says the uShop is not installed properly , just type in the search 'lustra'

then enter the last post in the search results and enter page 2 , it's on the first post if i'm not wrong , it's a midi file of 10 kb , Lustra - Scotty Doesn't Know

I have enough cash to pull it off(download) but for some reason the uShop is getting in my way ... :/
 
Oy....I am not experienced in that area...but if you start a post on the ringtones site, maybe one of our more knowlegdable members will provide an assist. Oh...wait, the cpf$ feature is being upgraded, if Ushop is part of that maybe you just have to wait until that process is completed. I wish I could be of more help, but I'm not into the downloading thing. But thanks for repping me. smiles.
