nokia 1600 accessing menu options without functional display screen?

I have Nokia 1600 and recently I broke display screen and now I cant see what I am doing anymore. I want to copy my contacts from the phone to SIM. Can anyone give me precise instructions how to do so? For example: click down 3 times or click number 4 to access option number 4 etc.
The matter is urgent and I would really appreciate if you can spare your time to help.
