Noise in 1995 Toyota 4Runner?

Hi, I have a '95 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4. the 4 wheel drive shifter rattles and makes a loud noise along with the rattle. it occurs randomly at any speed. does anyone know what could be wrong or done to correct it?

the boltthat holds the shifter in place for the four wheel drive could be loose and that can also cause the shaking, just take off the leather boot or mesh or whatever your boot's made of and check the other end of the shifter
