I have to say other than Rebecca Hall - i had no idea who the other actors were! That said i only knew Noel Clarke because of Who. I knew of Adulthood but never went to see it because it ain't my thing.

You forget about Auf Wiederson Pet, and he has also had several roles on television since way back in 1999.
But maybe he won the rising star award more to do with the capacity of being a writer and a director.
I can't believe that he's actually 33 years old.
For some reason I keep thinking of him as being in his early twenties.
