Hello guys. I have been suffering from anxiety and stress for a long time now. Ever since i was starting out my teens. I'm 19 now and struggling to make it in college. I am also a hypochondriac so every little thing worries me more. I get one symptom and i assume the worst. Lately i have been having seriously bad nocturnal anxiety. Just as I'm falling asleep it feels as if my chest and arms and my whole upper torso is vibrating i guess i should say and I wake up breathing heavily but it goes away after about ten seconRAB. I used to do this back in high school when i was highly stressed and i calmed down a lot and now I'm doing it again. Just as I'm falling asleep it's kind of a rush feeling. I wake up taking in a deep breath and my upper torso feels as if it is still asleep. Lol Im not sure how to word it. I do it when I'm highly stressed and I was just wondering if you guys have any tricks to help me fall asleep.I recently had a doctors visit and all my tests came back normal for some other symptoms i was having which totally went away after the doctor. (hypochondriac kicking in) she said i was stressed. (and she's right!) and gave me zoloft. I've never used any kind of drug before like this and I don't want to take it and have worst side effects than the anxiety. Any ideas on that also? Thanks guys.
