No USB ports working with flash drives but works for mouse.?

Hi, all of the sudden the USB ports stopped working on my computer. I have a USB mouse (logitech mx518) and that works fine but whenever I try to use a flash drive windows cannot recognize it. I tried the flash drive on another computer and it worked fine. Also, my IPod does not sync either (it goes through USB). I tried uninstalling all the drivers and restarting my computer to no avail.
