No Tax Increases, Obama backs up like little girl.

I would be fascinated to read in your worRAB how that sentiment can be rationally reconciled with the thought that the Republican Party is the "Party of fiscal responsibility".

Every fucking dime of this deal raises our deficit and increases our debt. And this deal will have passed through a Republican House. (The party of fiscal responsibility mind you.)

By any objective and rational observation, Obama put far more on the table than the tea baggers and their lackey's ever did. And they pissed it away for a mere moment of political dick measuring.

Yet again, I am not happy with Obama. Mind you, he did do the most politically correct thing. He compromised. (LE GASP!!!) But this "compromise" affirms my belief that the Republican Party would be just as happy to see the destruction of the United States and everyone in it so long as it also saw the destruction of Obama. To the absolute detriment of absolutely everything else.

I for one will remeraber that as I cast my next vote.
 
tea party told everyone that this is what they were going to do, and they still may not pass this bullshit bill. I hope they don't. Fuck both parties. The us isn't going to be destroyed, we've had government shutdowns TWICE under Clinton and we were just fine so chill on the theatrics there drama queen.
 
Will you also remeraber who was trying very hard to get a balanced budget amendment? One that was tied to the deal?

While some might disagree with it, obviously with your concern for future deficits you must agree with it.
 
Do you guys not see what just happened? This bill is going to allow the President to raise the debt ceiling by himself, in the event the two opposing forces can't agree on terms (which, duh, of course they won't). That was the whole reason for this pretended countdown to apocolypse. To give Emperor Obama more power. Now he'll have it.
 
If this bill passes, it won't be an issue, because what will happen is the 6+6 "supercommittee" will deadlock, and Obama will just raise the debt ceiling so they can go home.

Sweet deal, for neverending increases in the Federal Budget... sucks for the rest of us.
