no spark on my 80s gm 350 with msd?

80s chevy 350 it does have a 6al msd i was fiddling with wires and battery and now it wont start i did lot of back tracking anyways puuled a pug left on wire while my wife tried to start it and zero spark where can i narrow it down i no theres power to the msd but where does the power come out of the msd so i can see if its hot and does it need to be cranking for it to be hot? then on the disripiter how can i see if the hot is getting to that where should i start? i mean shit isnt it only battery msd then coil then plug i mean has to be in there somewhere right aslo i got some funky shit on my altanater i got a hot wire then a wire thats not hot on a harnest these wire and then to other wires where all rapped together witch i no cnt be right any ways yeh i cnt find a fuse for the msd witch suprises me i cheacked all the fuese that i could find lol could it be a rely ? please try to help me
