So i have a packard bell easynote mx65 with windows 7 on it and i can't get any audio on it. I had the same problem before when using xp/vista (don't remember which one). I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the audio drivers from the device manager which didn't work. I also do not get any sound when i plug in my headphones. When i left click the volume control and then hoover over the icon there it sais digital audio (S/PIDF) high definition audio device. And i think the problem has something to do with this because on my other laptop it sais speakers/headphones instead of digital audio. Also the icon looks like a speaker and on the laptop where the problem is the icon is like a black box thing. I hope that the information i've provided is enough, Thanks
