Hi there,
I've have problem - No sound output in windows media player 11 pretty certain the codecs are on it already bcoz i have installed them myself. I've got PowerDVD installed as well, but WMP still won't play sound on dvd disc in the drive - files that are playing from the hard drive are fine though.
Been scratching my head over this for a while, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

If the files are on the DVD, you can Rip them on the HDD and can play..
or your WMP don't have enough codes to play this files..try to open the files with VLC media Player or codec lite pack...this will resolve your issue

Hmmmmm Sounds like you need a free codec for windows media player that will enable dvd playback/sound You can download this
