Hi,
I am using the MFI Versian 2.XX, it took me forever to figure out how to get it to work, I finally got it working and recognissing a phone then it failed and I got the following error
Unable to cast COM object of type 'RIMRADIOCOMLib.RIMRadioObjClass' to interface type 'RIMRADIOCOMLib.IConnection'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{FE9513A0-9002-11DD-BAEA-0002A5D5C51B}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).
After that I had to reflash the phone 2 times to get it working and its still not unlocked.
I am working on an XP computer, Vendor file deleted, not connected to the internet,
Can some on help me..

I am a newbie here. I have a verizon wireless BB 8830 World edition. I used the MFI loader and successfully got 1 (pass). After that I opened the desktopmanager and updated the bb software.
1. does this mean the BB is flashed successfully? (it is a verizon BB)
2. What do I need to do to use it on another network (metro pcs). I have an existing number with metro pcs.
3. I tried to insert a SIM card from another carrier but the phone says "Invalid SIM card.
4. I tried to open the MFI loader but it is not recognizing the BB anymore?
