Hi guys!
I have not slept. Its 4 30 in the morning and I have only slept for a half hour. Insomnia is a huge red flag for me. The first thing I think is, oh I need some sleeping pills! This is going to make me crazy if I don

Hey Derlinda --We should have been tossing and turning around together. Once 2 am kicked in I was wide awake. NOTHING would put me back to sleep. I even did try a sleeping pill and it didnt worki! Detox is a biatch. I am on day 4 of a CT stop of oxy. My body is craving that right now so bad. Hang in there kid, thought it would make you feel better ifyou knew that someone half way across country was in the exact same boat as you.

Morning sweetie....Like Ive said to fullcircle I love my bed too,so its horrid when you just cant lie back and rest. Well done for not doing sleeping pills and for committing to a drug free day. We can do it together....Im day 2 (again) with no street drugs and Im determined not to give in easily this time. Try to schedule your day so thats theres not as much time to let your mind wander......idle hanRAB and all that.
I think you show great insight as to what your triggers are.....knowing that one pill will lead to a bottle and then to a drink. Remeraber your own worRAB and repeat them as often as you need.
Gonna be a long day for both of us but we can do it.....together and with all our frienRAB here.
love.......CC xoxox

Hi All,
So good to hear that I am not the only one counting the ceiling tiles! Its mid day and im feeling pretty good for no sleep. Staying really busy and reading some good stuff on the power of positive thinking (that crap really helps!).

Sometimes this would work for me: take a hot bath, turn the tv on to some durab informercial and read a long and boring book. Chances are you'll fall asleep in the chair.

Doesn't matter where you sleep, but that you sleep. If you think that a sleeping pill will lead to other things, then you may want to check into aromatherapy. Lavendar is a very calming scent and there are many others that can help with sleep.

I can always loan you my World Civilizations book for college....I can only read about 1-1/2 page and I'm like a light.. ha ha ha

Seriously though, if you can't sleep, try the tv or a book and see if that helps.

Good luck, this shall pass.

thanks for the thoughts. just woke up, got a full 6 hours!!!! now i feel like i got hit by a truck! its so good to wake up clean and sober. i love thinking of all the money i'm saving by not blowing it on pills!
hope you all slept!
