is it mounted on a tree?

seems like a tree is blowing in the wind affecting your signal. It should not jump between 70-90%

with such a low signal on 11 ( a stronger transponder???) and higher on others, i wonder if shoody cabling (old rg 59 cable) or bad connectors, or a splitter is the culprit?
did the installer use new cable , from the dish to your box?
what is the dish mounted to?
is there a tree in its line of sight?
during spring, when the leaves fill out the tree, this causes alot of dishes to lose signal if installed too low, or into the tree in the winter, while the leaves were gone, maybe if your lucky, the dish was installed less than 3 months ago....

Who is dosbourne? I don't see any posts by them. :)

I agree with i hate tv, if the signal is jumping around more than 1 or 2 % points then, although alignment could still be a factor, then it is likely a cable, connector, switch or receiver hardware issue. Moinsture in the cable, corosion or a number of other factors need to be rules out.

It's mounted on my house. The equipment looks new to me. There is a tree to the right of the dish 15 meters away but it doesn't look like it's in it line of sight, though it is close to it. If it is the tree, I don't understand why it's just started to interfere last week.

Anyways I think I'm going to leave Bell. I haven't been happy with the service since I got it.

Of course what's happened in the past few weeks? The leaves came out. According to some postings here, tree branches (and spring leaves) can interfere with a signal which was perfectly ok before. Line of sight limitations means what it says.

Yes ofcourse but the the leaves were already on the tree for a while now. This problem just started last week. And I dont think the tree is in the way.
