I haven't had sex, or involved in any sexual activities with anyone, for almost 3 years, is it still possible for me to be pregnant? I apologize I know that is a silly question, but my menstruation for this month is almost a week late, and my boyfriend is so worry about this, he is so afraid of me cheating on him and keep saying there should be no reason for any women to have late periods unless pregnant or some other serious problems.
Well of course I know there could be lots of possible reasons that causes late periods, and it's my body so I guess I could understand myself way more than anyone else. But there's just no way I could convince him to believe me (a woman who started her period since 10+ years ago), but himself.
But seriously, could a woman still be pregnant if she have not had sex for almost 3 years, no medication, not on diet and not on birth control?

Oh and one more thing, I had my period last month but it was strangely longer than usual periods, would this be one of the reasons that cause my late period for this month?
