Checked all fuses as well by the way
The engine turns over fine and everything else seems to work fine but there is no spark at plugs; pulled plug to verify. Replaced control module, coil is ok. Any ideas why there is no spark? Thanks in advance.

If you know the coil to be good, there is the only thing to keep the fire from going to the plugs is the rotor. Check for battery voltage on the + side of the coil. Pull the coil wire and hold it next to a ground and see if it fires. If it doesn't fire, the pickup coil in the distributor is bad.

Cap and rotor/wires
Distributors have a pick up coil that sits down inside the distributor
Not familiar with the Dakota do you have an Ingniter for the coil?
OIl pressure switch
Did you check the engine fuses?
