I just purchased a used 94 Honda Civic DX, with no power steering. There is no reservoir, pump or brackets for ps.. nothing that I could find (and I had a mechanic take a look also). The owner used the car for racing mainly but I live in the suburbs and it's a lot harder to turn with all the streets here, than my other car. Should I get power steering parts from a junk yard? or is there another less expensive option (rack and pinions?)? I don't know anything about cars so I'm just asking for a little help. Should I just leave it how it is and get used to it?
