no ota after rom update

i have a ppc 6700 flashed to cricket. i did a rom update from utstar.com for qwest ppc's. i have tryed ota via *22804 and it fails everytime. i have tryed many times. i checked ##778 and all the settings appear the same except the prl is different. does ota load the prl? i found the link here for a cricket prl file. i just wanted to know if there was something i had to do after a rom update. i will try to manually load the prl later. i just wanted some feedback from the pro's here.
 
you will need to reload the prl, because the rom update changed the phone back to a verizon phone, you will have to download the cricket PRL and follow instructions previous posted in the 6700 post
 
got it...i saved the prl found in the xv6700 sticky. saved it to the phone via activesync.##prl...browsed for the file..performed update...*228 and it was golden. thanks for your response. it is nice to get reassurance when your about to do something. i have been messing with this phone for almost a month nice. trying different things and coming here has been the best place to start. thanks again..
 
here in the omaha ne market for cricket, when i flash a ppc6700 i usually have to do a ota programming with *22807, thats the programming code we use to point phones to crickets networks to ota program..
