I am Russian & Tatar & everytime i mention it to an American person their mouth drops & they stare at me like I have a dick on my face.. Honestly doesn't anybody know what that is????... smh.
Tatar people live in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and China. Some of them look very Caucasoid, and some look very Mongolian. Most of them practice Islam, but a lot are Christians too.
Most Americans recall "Tartar" though, not "Tatar".
