no offense intended..but what's happened to femininity in women?

If anything, there is too much " femininity" on display these days.
Some of it just makes me cringe.
About masculinity - I find all these bald male heads completely off putting.
No offense - of course!

most dress like men..with short hair
some have aggressive nature and swear like old soldiers

gone are the pretty lace and the sweet shy smile

The pretty lace and long hair have not gone - I am sitting here with both, I don't swear but don't accept that from men either. I need to be aggressive in my job as a mental health advocate but am calmly assertive in the rest of my life. Don't wish shyness on us tho - disabling condition, that is.

Natural women who are sure of themselves remain perfectly feminine. Most women have it and its a natural gift.

The word that comes to mind is 'classy.' A feminine woman has a beautiful instinct to carry herself because she KNOWS she is attractive. Particularly in her bearing and dress. She doesn't need a miniscule skirt and plunging blouse-line, nor a ton of make-up.

Personally, I believe Woman's Lib was one of the best things that ever happened to Democracy and the sooner Women start running the Planet, the sooner we'll stop all this senseless bloodshed that's been going on since Cave Men first stepped up to the plate and said, 'Let me show you how to do it..!'
Silly sods.

Not really, I guess it would depend on the company you keep.I think most women are quite feminine, the young women dress cute with pretty and very girlish tops. Some dress casually, shorts and a t-shirt, but they can certainly dress for what ever occasion it is.

My problem is with the young women showing too much femininity!

I have never liked frills, even as a young girl. Back in the day almost all females wore dresses with garter belts and stockings no matter the weather. You dressed up just to go up town. You dressed up to visit relatives that lived out of town. I own maybe four dresses and never wear them. I also have dress heels that have gone out of style. Hey! I still look like a woman, so what's the problem? Poppy

Children today are really absorbed into their computer generated world that they loose touch in what makes girls girls and boys boys. It's largely in part fault due to cell phones and the internet, but mainly from their parents who don't really do a good job. It's not their fault that they are blind to these things. So forgive the ignorance of the youth. Soon enough they will grow up and realize how much of a fool they were.

today's society has ruined alot of women, they have no respect for themselves or their bodies and act like real low lives. if they would just sit back and look at themselves and see how they are acting maybe they would change. if they have no respect for themselves why would anyone else give them any.

I'm a girl and I love girly things. Long hair, manicures, shopping... I love stuff like that. I can be a real sweetie, too. I'm also very reserved. But at the same time, I swear like a sailor. Not around just anybody, but it's true, I do. And a woman can still have short hair and still look feminine?

I have long hair, am wearing a chiffon dress with a long string of pearls. I have lipstick and mascara on. After I'm done on the computer, I'm going to meet up with a few friends, who might be in skirts, pants, or dresses, but my friends tend to wear more girly things. We are going to go shopping, probably buy some light dresses and blouses for summer, some frilly panties, and some new makeup. I reject your generalization. And are you going to tell me that this http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.netizenwallpapers.com/upload/DesktopWallpapers/thumbs/Emma-Watson-New-2011_big.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.netizenwallpapers.com/Emma-Watson-New-2011_4994.html&usg=__R3CPl0gRcjhmSaDbEqoXjpk3EPI=&h=250&w=400&sz=26&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=wnAif3LCbEL_jM:&tbnh=135&tbnw=177&ei=JIYYTraCB4KFsgKQw8jCBw&prev=/search%3Fq%3Demma%2Bwatson%2B2011%26hl%3Den%26gbv%3D2%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D630%26tbm%3Disch&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=330&page=1&ndsp=22&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0&tx=79&ty=35 is not still feminine and attractive?
