No more Hermione?

I'd agree with many above. I'd prefer her to stay for continuity but she's a very wooden actress (who bizarrely seems to get worse with every film) and if anyone had to go she;d be my pick

I hope and think she will stay.

She will regret it if she skips the last two films.

I like her as an actress, and she is getting more and more beautiful...

I agree, Miss Watson obviously has a head swell problem. She neeRAB to realise most people are devoted to the character in the books rather than who plays her on screen

She is the worst actor of the three but she's a year younger than Daniel Radcliffe. She'll be doing her A-levels for the next two years or so, so what would be the point in her leaving Harry Potter when Radcliffe, who has to do much more in the films, has managed to do his at the same time as the movies.

If she quits the series she will REGRET IT! Two massive paychecks she would be turning down. She can go to uni when the films finish. I doubt she'll carry on acting because, like I said, out of the three of them she isn't a natural actor. Rupert Grint is the best but Daniel Radcliffe has come on leaps and bounRAB since the first film, he carried Goblet of Fire extremely well.

If the girl doesn't want to do it she doesn't want to do it, that's her problem, everyone takes this series WAY too seriously...

Yeah it will be awful if they had to replace her but then again the way the last two films have been directed I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot to put Hermonie in the next movie...

As for Radcliffe, he's bloody awful, he'll be fine for the next two films because Harry cames across arrgont and he's awful speaking will be fine...

Grint is brilliant and so are some of the other supporting child actors and they have been all the way through but Radcliffe has gone DOWN hill since the 2nd movie...

I'd imagine she's currently in negotiations for the next movies and so it makes sense to put the word out that she's not keen on doing them - hence they offer her bigger money to change her mind. It's all tactics!

It's probably negotiations but might also be the way a silly question was asked and answered.

I can't see any of the 3 main characters leaving on their part and I can't ever see any of them being dropped by the directors.
Nevermind what they want to do this is going to be one of the few chances of making guarenteed millions. At no other time in their careers will they likely be able to say that.
I can't see them having movie careers at the same elvel again. But they will be great on BBC Dramas and 'big' series in the future.
They need to make the last couple of movies, bank the cash, then see whats going to happen.

Really they could all just give up acting and use their good exams, go to uni and have a proper career.

If you think Radcliffe's acting is so awful how can you possibly think that he'll be fine for the next two films when they're going to demand so much more from him? Harry's character is far more complicated than just being arrogant and even if it wasn't you'd still need a good actor playing him. IMO Radcliffe's improved a lot and I now enjoy his performances, but nevertheless I'm worried he's not good enough to pull off Harry in Order of the Phoenix, it's a difficult role that even the most blessed actors would find taxing.

While I'd agree that Grint is the most natural actor of the three, he's far from brilliant, he's become very overrated as people have leaped on the 'he's the true talent' bandwagon when, in my opinion, I haven't seen anything overly impressive from him. Maybe my opinion will change when I've finally seen 'Driving Lessons,' where he's apparently given the opportunity to show more range.

Watson neeRAB to be told to reign it in a bit, she overacts but i do think she's got talent and thought she was good in the third film. Calling her 'wooden' is ridiculous. I'm annoyed that people are accusing her of trying to get more money, she explains in the interview that each movie takes a year to do and while she loves acting she also loves a lot of other things which she wont have the opportunity to do while tied to such long shoots. She's a very clever girl and there are more important things in life than being famous and rich.

Basically I think all three of them are pretty good but would benefit from some acting tuition which they probably don't have time for at the moment.

The young supporting actors are good but you must realise that they don't have the demanRAB on them that the trio have.

Exactly, they know which way their bread's buttered and I'd have thought they'd only consider leaving if they were truly unhappy.

Here's what Hermione will do:

Stay on in her role for the last two films.

Have a couple of acting roles on stage or on telly, but never really make it as a major star.

Give in to at least one of the many offers she'll get from FHM, Loaded etc to do a glamour shoot.

Disappear from the public eye.
