I have a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire; 203,000 miles on it and everything is factory, no aftermarket anything at all, and it has been taken care of. I got in my car after work tonight and I put it in reverse then drive & go to turn my low beams on, and I get nothing except the daytime running lights... switch to high beams and they work okay, but seem a little dim.

What will it take to fix this? Can I just buy replacement bulbs? Or the whole headlight assembly? Should I be able to do this myself or do I need to pay someone to do it, or get one of the guys at the parts store to help me out? I'm a college student and the money thing is a little rough, I hope this isn't a big fix, ANY help at all would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks for your time in reading this.
Any round figure estimates on how much things would cost would help me out a little also - thanks for your help! :)
