hi everyone from my earlier post you,ll know i have back trouble. yesterday it got so bad i went back to my gp. when in the waiting room pain got so bad i coult,nt move and was shaking. but was still left in the waiting room for a further 45 minutes to the amazement of the other patients. when i told the receptionist i was going to pass out she decided to send out a doctor, unfortunitly for me he was on his first year. i struggled to my feet and could only take two steps with one person each side of me and had to sit again eventually three of them got me in a room i said you may give me morphine to which he replied i dont think we have that here can you believe that. he called an arabulance an the first thing they done was give me morphine this was two hours after entering the doctors. they brought me to the hospital and give me more. about an hour and a half later it wore off i was in agony again an still in a wheel chair. after nearly crying to get attention they give me 10mg of morphine 45 minutes later no ease then they give me 100 of petidene i got ease and they sent me home three hours later at eleven o clock last night. ps today i have a stinging pain ffom the middle of my shin going down through my foot.

I am so sorry you are going through this pain. I would seriously consider switching practices and looking into programs that help with those with no health care. You should ask a physician or do an online search to find the programs, they are out there. I would even consider bypassing the doctor's office if you get that bad off again. Did they give you anything to help once you got home? The doctor SHOULD have checked with the er about you and set up an immediate follow up appt. If he/she did not you need to move on from there to find adequate care. Take care!

yes your right thanks. from now on if its gets that bad i,ll call for the arabulance myself and keep calling till the right treatment is given. i even brought my mri results with me that i had done in june (witch i paid for myself by the way) thinking they would do another one and compare the two to see did it get any worse but instead filled me with drugs and sent me packing. thanks again sean.

Sean that is exactly what you need to do. If we don't advocate for our own health care, trust me, no one else will! Be a thorn in their side til you get the health care you deserve! Have a great weekend!

you to mim gregg judging by your profile your going through the mill yourself take care.
