and I want a test ride on a XR1200
I am an excellent rider, shouldn't be no reason for them to refuse to give me a test ride.
right?
if they don't have the XR1200 on stock then will they allow me to test ride the regular sportster?
I never bad mouth Harleys or their owners

Well they probably cringe whenever you walk in, so one possibility is they really don't want to deal, not with people in general, but YOU in particular.

They are probably all SOLD when they arrive, and would rather not have a sold vehicle road tested, especially since they know you. Which is probably why they won't let you road test a different bike.

"I never bad mouth Harleys or their owners"

Please!
Go back and take a look at some of your posted questions!
You are a moron and I'm surprised they haven't "barred" you at the local dealership yet.

I really have no idea why you want one. Not having one in stock is an excellent reason to not let you ride one.

Does mental health issues affect your whole family or are you the only one? A few days ago you hated them. You tell everyone the engines only last 5000 to 8000 miles.Blah Blah Blah. Now today you want one?You are one confused kid.You have a bad case of memory loss too.You should go look at some of your questions and answers since you can't remember what you say from day to day.

Most HD dealers don't like to do test rides on any bike, but they will for repeat customers. Even then it would be a rental model of whatever they were looking at. Every place I ever worked said "rent one if you want to try it".

A special edition bike would never be available for test rides, or any CVO or Screamin Beagle edition, either. Just ain't gonna happen, dude.

You go in to test ride a regular sportster and they'll tell you to rent the one sitting outside. Make sure you've got full coverage insurance plus rental insurance plus 20 grand available on your Visa or Mastercard.

Better cowboy up if you're gonna test ride a Sporty...

" I want one, Why?"

That's just how desire works.

"shouldn't be no reason for them to refuse to give me a test ride.
right?"

For some dealers, they have a no-test ride policy, even if you are Valentino Rossi. Plus without one in stock, how can you ride it?

Well I see this week we are back in our Harley "love" cycle. Bart, why wuld someone like yourself want a Harley, when all you do is bad mouth them and their owners? Please Bart, some of us have memories that last more than 10 seconds, which apparently you don't as one day you bad mouth Harleys and owners and now you want one.

Bart, if you want a Harley, get one and shut the f up
