No Gogoriki merchandise in the USA yet?

How come the USA hasn't seen released yet any merchandise (T-shirts, mini figures, coloring books, etc.) of the Russian animated import called GOGORIKI which airs on CW 4 Kids?

Yeah, it's airing once a week at 7 AM, so I don't imagine a lot of folks watch it. 4Kids themselves thinks reruns of Winx Club are a higher priority, so...

Although I do recommend giving it a try if you haven't, as it isn't halfway bad for an E/I show. Who doesn't enjoy hearing Dan Green as a cute bunny rabbit?

I caught it a few times and I found that its actually pretty enjoyable. But I don't see merchandise in the states doing too well, seeing as how it's a pretty low-profile series.

Wasn't it getting the 2nd or 3rd highest ratings for a few weeks when it was on at 8:30?

I like Gogoriki. The animation is very pleasing to watch. It makes great use of color, has fluid animations, not ear-bleedingly bad songs (even 1 or too 2 catchy ones) and the Russian culture references.

The major difference here is that Road Rovers was canceled after a single season and Loonatics was canceled after 2 seasons. GoGoRiki, on the other hand, is still running as of now. Also, none of these shows have set the world on fire, so there's no major demand to make any merchandise for them.

The only merchandise I could see doing well of GoGoRiki are plushies. The character designs do lend themselves quite well for such things.

Otherwise, I dunno, 4Kids hasn't been taking too many risks with merchandise these days. I mean, it took Chaotic nearly three seasons before getting anything besides the card game, and that's their top-priority show now.

As usual, it's up to the fans to support the show anyway possible, if that means getting things imported to do so (now you know how us anime fans have felt for the past 30-40 years).
