No Global Edmonton HD on Bell ?

Global Edmonton just went HD (except news apparently). I've been waiting for this forever but not available on BELL !!

Hello BELL..anyone home ?
 
Save the news and the breakfast shows, there is no difference between the Edmonton and Calgary Globals. None of these locally produced news and breakfast news shows are in HD anyways. Since they're in the same time zone, it's a waste having both in HD. Global HD Calgary is 899
 
If it the same as Global Calgary they only offer you about 3 to 4 hours a day of HD programming
 
Yeah...all US Network sim-subs...nice.

Global is a complete waste of bandwidth...imho.
 
Get yourself an antenna.. plug it in the back of your hd receiver.. scan for available channels and add them to your guide. This is how they do it south of the border for locals. Bell should dump all of these local stations.. infact.. CTV, Global, CBC, City, Ch, all of these networks should create a each their own a power house network that plays all their regular shows.. minus the news feeds.. and its up to each their own to plug in some rabbit ears in the receiver for their locals. Am I out of line?? Do people in Montreal really care to watch Global Edmonton?? As much as folks out here care to watch Global Montreal?? which does that exist?!?! lol
Just have like a CTV East Main carrier with national news feed if they got nothing better to fill the time with and make a West version too.. and same could apply to all other major canadian networks.
