No Electrics

Hi all,

I have a VZ800 Marauder (97/98) and the electrics have gone completely. The fuses are okay - battery good.
Problems started a while back and 'jiggling' the wires around the fusebox & relay led me to believe it was just poorly seated connections, now however after removing the 'starter relay control' not the 'starter relay' where the main fuse lies, but the box next to it with 3 wires connecting to blades on the control box itself and finding that pressure on the connector caused my electrics to come back on and then off again but when putting everything back as it was there's absolutley nothing now... even with pressure, jiggling the wires etc.. I was hoping this might have been seen before ?
I have ordered a new Starter relay control but that was before I found this site so if anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful for their comments.

regards

Rocky

Go to an autoparts store and get some Di-electric Grease. It conducts electricity. Put a bit on each spade before you plug them in. I read somewhere else, that taking needle nose pliers, and putting a slight twist (clockwise or counterclockwise, not up or down) in the spade would make a sloppy connection tighter. If I did this, I would be extremely careful. If you can get to the female side, pinch it a little to make it tighter.
