No CW11 HD on BEV

I just noticed that over in the US it seems that they have CW11 in HD. But it doesn't seem available in HD on BEV. Anyone know why or if it's coming?
 
I very highly doubt it. WGN HD carries CW Network programs in HD. There may be some differences in daytime programs, but none of those are in HD anyway.
 
WGN HD is available on Shaw here in Calgary. The only programs in HD that are worth watching are Smallville and Supernatural, so you aren't missing anything unless you like those two programs.

Perhaps Bell will add the channel when more bandwidth is available on a new satellite.
 
Smallville in HD? Isn't that available on other HD channels anyways or only CW11 HD? Also What are you talking about new satellites. Bell is just gonna compress till there's no tomorrow. lol

I wish bell would at least add Speed and CNN HD because other company's in Canada carry that in HD at the moment
 
At least for me the only way to watch Smallville in HD is on CW11. There are no other channels on my Shaw service that carry Smallville in HD.

And I was under the impression that Bell will be adding a new satellite sometime in the near future. Or am I mistaken? It would be nice to see Speed and CNN in HD on Bell as we have Bell at work and I would love to watch CNN in HD all day. Alas, it will probably be a while.
 
I agree that CNN HD and Speed HD would be really nice. I hope that BEV is adding a new satelite. That would be great news. Then maybe they would get CW11 in HD :P

Hopefully other canadian netoworks like TLC, HGTV, and food will be making the switch to hd to force BEV to need to add a new satelite
 
Would it not be great to see Maria, Michelle, Melisa, Becky and others in HD.
I would rather CNBC HD than CNN HD.

Question? Which Canadian carrier has Speed HD?
 
There are plenty of SPEED HD threads already. This is about CW11 HD, please stay on topic. Further discussion of TLC, CNN, or any other cable news or sports network in HD will be deleted.
 
Turns out that WGN HD plays the CW11 shows that are supposed to be in HD on their channel anyways. So it's all good :)
 
One thing I noticed, is it just me? or the quality of the SD CW11 channel is TERRIBLE.
 
Here the picture quality of CW11 is good, just the same as other channels...

The only problem is the sound, which is really low, I need to raise the volume all the time I watch the channel
 
It seems like every time I watch like jerry springer, steve wilkos, or judge mathis, it looks terrible. and like you mentioned above the volume is really low.
 
Bev never had CW11 in HD. I believe they carry some sort of CW channel in SD, but when it comes to HD the only CW affiliate that bev has is WGN HD. CW23 is available via OTA in the toronto Area if your interested.
