I would take the Bold, Storm, or the Javelin!! But no flip! and thats all they're releasing right now so i'm forced to step away from BB and try the G1!! I'ts not a BB but I know it beats that damn flip phone! it should hold me til the javelin.

What's wrong with sticking with whatever BB you have at the moment until your BB is released? I can't look at another that isn't a BB. But that's just me.

I use both AT&T and T-Mobile, and I'm here to say that my _guess_ is that all is not lost yet. There may indeed be a Bold for T-Mobile. Stay tuned, and think positive....

Well Said HeavyC !

I'm with you, sometimes it's all too easy for us (including myself) to get so wrapped up in anticipation of the next new BlackBerry that we focus on what we _don't_ have, instead of what we _DO_have.

And we are the lucky ones, as we own BlackBerrys and in my opinion NOTHING beats a BlackBerry ...any BB.

Cheers

Because I want a NEW experience! The stupid exclusives just irritate me! everyone should get the new BBs! like i said before I would prefer a new BB but TMO isn't focused on existing BB users! They want to appeal to teenagers and people who use flip phones! I will look at something else if my only other option is a flip! G1 has a huge hi res touch screen,3g, wifi, real browser, full qwerty, and lots of potential! its worth a look!! better than that new pearl and probably my old beat up curve as well.

I can understand the hype and desire for this great device with the promise of 3G, but being a Curve owner, I'm fairly satisfied. All of my high speed browsing is done via UMA which can't be matched. Looking at the soft data-cap T-mo plans on enforcing makes you wonder if its worth the short-lived monthly benefit. I'm not dumping RIM for the HTC dream either, I'm not a hypee, and prefer a fixed querty thank you very much. Resembles a sidekick...... and makes me nauseated. Its like and i-phone and sidekick had a love-child.

As for unlocking a Verizon phone (Storm) to use on a t-mo network, I don't believe Verizon runs EDGE/GPRS networksand their 'high-speed' is something other than 3G nor do they have SIM cards, not sure though. And yes, you can use a BB 9000 on T-MO 3G as the 'Bold' is multi-frequency 3G! (Yay for RIM). I won't go into the whole 'unlocking' production, but I know other than the flip-berry X-D , there will be something great from BB on the next network everyone will be drooling over.

Death to everything touch....have a nice day.

LOL at this guy!! BTW.. TMO removed the data cap in case you didn't know! If youre satisfied with what you have then thats fine, keep it. I for one am not! There shouldn't be any reason why I can't have the Bold or Thunder! its ridiculous imo! So im going with the new toy. if that makes me a hypee(lol) then so what! No offence but I dont care if its cute to you or not! I'm concerned with features! and it has those in spades! more than my curve for sure! I would really just want the Thunder so forgive my frustration! not unlocked! I want Tmo to release it! That G1 looks like a game changer though!

G1 FOR LIFE!!!!(unless TMO brings the Thunder) I want to touch somethin!

I need hard proof/data on T-mo not enforcing the cap, but I hear ya loud and clear. My contract expires next week, and I'm dumping T-mo, they appear to be more focused on marketing to teens and such. At&t has taken the right approach and I'm making the jump.
No offense taken, I enjoy the aesthetic appeal of a phone, but anything that slides, folds, pops-out, is not what I'm looking for. Good luck with the 'Dream', maybe they'll make it in Neon-Green or Polka-Dots and then you'll really get your $'s worth! (kidding) All jokes aside though, I remember watching a CNET interview with a rep from Google about the HTC, he stated "Eventually we will find a way to get our marketing and advertising content onto the phones, because we are Google and that's our revenue source...." Say what? We are now in the age of paying for ads? I can see it now.........Home screen, call log, address book, browser, Toyota tundra, Kraft Cheese foods link. LOL I hope I'm over-reacting. x-D

I just got off the phone with a Tmobile rep. I called to find out when my Contract was up. I asked the rep what blackberrys were coming out besides the flip. I asked about a curve replacement, surprisingly enough she said the bold was coming out but she had no specific dates. She did say fall of 08. Was she misinformed or is the bold really coming to Tmobile??

All signs point no, we aren't getting the Bold! No solid date on the Javelin either. But we sure know the damned flip will be here within 2 weeks!OMG.. This phone has ruined my life(jkin)! Seriously though I hate it!

I'm so bitter right now because new pis & vids of the Storm are on here everyday! & I want it in the worst way! What the hell is TMO doing?!?! Focused on marketing schemes instead of loyal BB users!

This is clearly a step backwards for BB with so many innovative phones coming out. Its like they want to push us away! It would have been fine if they came with the Javelin 1st & then that crap. The flip looks like it should be free with a new contract! Anything over 50 bucks, tax included, is ridiculous!
