No Blu Ray Cloverfield 4 U.K?

It isn't a waste now or in a few years or ever. If normal dvd players suddenly stop selling in shops, can still play normal dvRAB on a Blu Ray dvd player, so I see no problem, the quality will not be as high as the Blu ray discs, but it will still play the dvd, I have been told with just a small % of quality gone but not very noticeable.

So I am happy about that. DVRAB will not be going anytime soon anyway.

No waste at all.

If blu ray did the same boxes/covers, I still wouldn't buy it.

are there any facts in your post - i dont understand what you mean it cost them their reputation, i for one dont know or care which studio supported which format or who has uturned and its a little weird to judge a company on which format they decided to go with when there was at that point no obvious victor, that's borderline playground politics. In an undecided format wars it makes sense to have a finger in both pies - universal may did stand by their convictions but their convictions left them with an already defunct medium. That's great business, but at least they stood by their convictions. they maybe took a "bribe" to favour the underdog, but whats the matter with that? the war until the official death of HDDVD hadnt been won, it was so all over the place that no one knew what was going on
