I just paid $350 for a new home stereo. I got a PYLE PRO PD3000A Preamp reciever. 550x2 watts at 4 ohms. and two MA audio Synergy series 1200 watt speakers with 15" woofers, 3.5" midrange and tweeters. I get very little bass out of them at all and only mid frequency bass when i crank it to 3/4 volume. The bass is all the way up on the reciever. I did take one of the woofers out and saw that there are no crossovers in either speaker. is this why? Lower frequencies are not even there when u turn it up to any volume. Speakers are phased correctly also.
it does have a subwoofer line out. but how can i disable that internal crossover? I couldn't find anythin in the manual or on the menu or anything about it.
can you give me step by step instructions on how to do that? What do you mean check the crossover in the reciever?

If your receiver or stereo has a line out for bass, then you will need to go to the receiver and reset the speakers. Put the speaker set up to stereo mode and check the cross over in the receiver also. This will give you more bass for your speaker.
