I read up on nitrogen cycling my new fish tank, and it said that i have to put ammonia in the tank. this sounds wrong... then again, it makes sense to put ammonia in there so the bacteria will grow.
is it right to put ammonia in the tank?
the tank is 2.5 gallons with a filter.
i am a first time fish owner, so i'm kinda spazzing over the fish (its a betta).
