July 14, 2009 Nissan today announced it has developed a Dual Injector system designed to improve fuel efficiency in small-displacement gasoline engines. The new fuel delivery system, claimed to be the first of its kind, uses an injector for each port rather than one per cylinder – speeding up fuel vaporization, reducing the amount of unburned fuel and reducing hydrocarbon emissions. Nissan will put the system into production vehicles beginning twelve months from now...
