Nintendo is tryin to pull out of its hole

I just got my wii and I wouldn't give it up for anything. Hell, wii sports is fun enough with a bunch of drunk friends over to justify the price of ownership to me. I also got Madden '07 and it's much better than any other version I've ever played. If for no other reason then the fact that it's ridiculously easy to learn.
 
Is madden really that great? Im a fan of the game But seriously Better then the rest...replay value/ fun....i know probley not graphicly ...i hope madden is in 08 i like hearing the bumblin fool ramble
 
Pretty sure MP3 will be released this spring/summer. SSB:Brawl this fall. No idea about Galaxy but I'm hoping this summer.
 
There will probably be plenty of other games to fill the time, so I'm sure the wait will be worth it. I'd rather that they take their time and release a spectacular game, rather than rushing out a shitty one
 
Nintendo is doing this so they don't fuck up like they did with the 64 and release all their hits early then have a shit list to follow. Then a few years later have another hit. Don't get me wrong though the 64 was a success to them, but they could have done so much better.

Do you mean to say that you only have one system? If there wasn't another Wii game for the next 4 months, I'd still be able to play some of the olde GC games, and barring that there are plenty of games which I have picked up for the PS2 (I'm looking forward to Rogue Galaxy (Feb. 1), Tomb Raider Anniversary and God of War II; I've just picked up Grandia III, King of Hearts I, II, Dark Cloud I, II). (On the GC side I have picked up Mystic Heroes, King of Persia: Darkness Within, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. Soon I'll be getting Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, Rogue Squadron, Zelda: Wind Waker.)

I say either buy a PS2 and get as many great games as possible, or, if your budget is set, sell the Wii and get the 360. Me, I'd rather get a lot of older games for $6 - $20 than pay $60 for a 360 or PS3 game. Yes, I paid the $50 for Z:TP and I'm even thinking of getting Z:TP GC version.

If it's all about the games, then the PS2 and XBox probably occupy more shelf space at your local Block Buster's or Hollywood Video.
 
i have a ps2 ps1 gc sega segacd sega32x lol cd and 32x stupid buys nintendo 64 nintendo and an atari all i have hooked up are the wii ps2 and atari i have all the other stuff boxed up, or at friends houses. im really looking to get a 360. I dont buy lots of games, granted i have alot of games but i just like getting one and playing it all the way threw till i get a different one. I use to buy new games every week and would just put the other ones awey for a long time. I really want GoW i think with online and that i would fill my time just fine untill other wii games. Maybe halo id pick up. Actually never played halo :O But ive alweys wanted to. im thinkin about Ebaying my ps2 i have about 30 great games for it.....well probely 20 and 10 shitty ones But yes right now we are pretty much just playing the wii and atari.Nuthin better the a game of Combat, or pong in my oppinion
 
I really don't understand why Nintendo is staggering out these VC releases. Just release a crapload of VC games and make Nintendo some MONEY. Hell we basically already have ALL of them with emulation so stop toying with our emotions nintendo!
 
Thats why i was sceptical about getting a Wii. After getting zelda there isn't another system I would buy for just one game reguardless of the price.
 
Don't forget all the RE ports from the PS/N64 to the GC (not counting the first one). I plan on going through those again. It's been about ten years since I've played those (I think)
