Nintendo Gameboy DS Wifi connection?

I have one of the first nintendo DS made and i am trying to use wifi to get on the internet and when i test for my signal the bar's are full for a while but it still sais searching but then after a minute the bars will lose all connection and a thing will pop up that sais cant find i.p. address and when i want to put my i.p. address in then it wants to know what my subnet mask, gateway, primary DNS, and secondary DNS... so what do i do?
 
If you have Windows XP you hit Start (bottom toolbar) then hit Run (lower right) then type in cmd. It should show you what all that stuff is.
 
I had the same problem. Check your internet settings. if you have a netgear, the default user name and password is "admin" and "password" routerlogin.com

the info should be there.

or

open up your start menu and click run, then type cmd. in the window, type ipconfig and read the information. that might help you
