Okay, so I bought an '09 Ninja 250 in January of 2009 and here it is July. I am already finding myself wanting more power. I've put about 1600 miles on the 250r and have no fears of traffic or laying it over on twisty back roads. Right now, my skills are building-I'm beginning not have to "think" about clutching and braking or taking lines in curves-its starting to become natural. A voice tells me to get a 600 inline 4 while another is saying keep the 250r for at least another 6 months. I find myself leaning over the tank in turns rather than taking it seated straight up.
I've sat on the zx6r and it was a bit awkward feeling. I haven't sat on a CBR 600 but assume its similar in body position. I've done hours of research on the bikes, so the next step is to test ride them.
My future bike will be used to commute 8 miles round trip daily and floggings on the weekend and track. I'm 5'8 170 pound athlete.
Please, give me all your inputs, experiences, issues, reliability, whatever about these bikes and taking the step up to the inline 4's.
